Hiring salary: $21.10/hour

OVERVIEW OF POSITION / DEPARTMENT
Department Information: The Fleet division is seeking General Maintenance Apprentice interested in a training position to perform routine preventive maintenance diagnostic and repair work on various types of automotive vehicles and equipment. Performing work on a variety of automotive heavy vehicles/equipment and fire apparatus.
Open Apprentice Positions:
Light Apprentice Technician
Welding Apprentice Technician
This position is classified as VHBE (Variable Hour Benefit Eligible) where the selected candidate will work an average of 40 hours per week. The selected candidate will be eligible to elect Medical Benefits as well as accrue paid time off and receive 11 paid holidays.
