Basic Job Functions:
The role of NCF Maintenance is to be responsible for the safest most efficient cost effective means of operation and maintenance of our assets. Skills used on a daily basis include (but are not limited to) PLC programming/troubleshooting AC/DC Drive programming/troubleshooting general maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment machining and fabrication of equipment. This is a rotating shift position which includes nights weekends emergency overtime and holidays.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
- Electromechanical degree or three years industrial maintenance experience including mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Basic knowledge of machining welding and equipment fabrication skills.
Preferences:
- PLC Skills in AB Control Logix 5000/500 Siemens STEP 7 etc...)
- AC/DC Drive experience (Allen Bradley Siemens etc)
- Industrial Maintenance Experience
