Job Title

About your role:

You will lead all Unisys ClearPath MCP OS Network and other major software release planning and will also configure plan and manage system hardware upgrades and act as a technical lead on larger projects.

What youll do:

• Implementing and maintaining procedures to collect performance metrics and produce system performance and capacity reports
• Perform analyses (e.g. performs technical research to assess system performance and capacity)
• Manage and maintain 24x7 uptime on the mainframes including client related connectivity application and platform issues
• Research products solutions technologies and apply results to create presentations and documentation
• Establish and implement auditing standards and present evidence to the auditors (internal and external) for CAS PCI FFIEC and SOC assessments
• Identify system performance bottlenecks and recommending performance improvement solutions
• Colloborate with business leaders to provide support advice and guidance on the correct application of products and technology solutions
• Apply technical expertise to support the deployment of technology architecture and the total system solution

Experience youll need to have:

• 6 years of experience on Unisys MCPsystems
• 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering in a Master Control Program (MCP)operating system environment EMC disk subsystems Work Flow Language (WFL) Communication Management System (COMS)
• 5 years of experience with Windows Data and Structure Definition Language (DASDL) and Open Distributed Transaction Processing (DTP)
• 3 years of experience in solution architecture including designing and implementing scalable
• Bachelors degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education military and work experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• COBOL experience
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues identify root causes and implement effective solutions

How youll work:

• This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis
• This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment

These pay ranges apply to employees in Illinois California and District of Columbia. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
