Job Description

Object Computing St. Louis Missouri seeks a full-time Principal Software Engineer (OpenDDS) maintain influence over project direction and act as an expert resource; consult with stakeholders to develop software solutions and participate in continuous learning; provide high-level guidance and mentorship on agile practices code reviews testing methodologies and code storage; ensure project success drive processes and evaluate strategic tools; recommend and evaluate software solutions identifying pros and cons; prioritize software issues lead open-source contributions and guide solution design; create and deliver presentations mentor engineers and contribute to OCI practices; and drive the development and roadmap of OpenDDS.

Position requires a Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems Computer Engineering Management Information Systems or a closely related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or closely related occupation in the software engineering industry to include 5 years of experience with OpenDDS ACE/TAO and working in embedded and real-time operating systems.
