DescriptionAs the Hotel Manager you will direct and coordinate all hotel departments to maintain smooth operations and uphold high service standards. From the early stages of hotel pre-opening to ongoing policy development and staff oversight youll play a hands-on role in shaping the guest experience and operational success. This role requires strong leadership attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage hotel pre-opening activities such as departmental setup and staffing
- Supervise operations in housekeeping PBX and general hotel functions
- Develop and enforce hotel policies and standard operating procedures
- Ensure inventory and supplies are well-stocked and efficiently managed
- Oversee employee performance including hiring training and evaluations
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the hotels success
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required post-secondary education in hospitality a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel or hospitality management or a related field
- Strong understanding of yield management and revenue optimization strategies
- Proven ability to maintain pars manage inventory levels and ensure supply efficiency
- Proficient in budget preparation financial reporting and cost control
- Skilled in cross-department coordination fostering collaboration among all hotel divisions
- Hands-on experience with hotel systems including Opera Sonifi Sertifi and GuestRev
- In-depth knowledge of full-service hotel operations including pre-opening planning
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in environments that require physical stamina and adaptability
