Job Title: Food and Beverage Team Member - Front of House Team Member

Type of Position: Seasonal Full-Time/Part-Time. Starts Oct/Nov upon Ski Area opening.

Schedule: Weekend and Holiday availability required

Pay: Starts at $20.00/hr. depending on experience

Summary

As a Front of House (FOH) Team Member at Loveland reporting to the Front of Lead with support from F&B Leadership youre the face of our Food & Beverage operation. Whether youre greeting guests at the register stocking grab-and-go items keeping self-serve stations clean and full or bussing during the lunch rush you help create a warm welcoming atmosphere for every skier and rider who comes through our doors. Daily tasks include cashiering restocking food and beverage items maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and jumping in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly. Youll also engage in table touches checking in with guests answering questions and helping them feel at home. This role is all about guest hospitality and creating memorable experiences. Flexibility is key as things move fast on the mountain and youll be expected to adapt problem-solve and support both guests and teammates wherever needed. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees with safety and fun as our top priorities.


Essential Functions

  • Become knowledgeable of all menu items to accurately ring up guest orders and complete accurate payment transactions keeping in compliance with all Loveland cash handling policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all dining & service areas maintaining all health department and Loveland food safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Perform various front counter and dining area cleaning and storage activities such as grab-and-go stocking dining table and counter cleaning bussing dishwashing storage & rotation of food and supplies and other duties as assigned.
  • Engage with our guests by anticipating and responding to their needs through clear and pleasant communication and execute hospitality in the dining room by ensuring all guests receive prompt & continual care.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor especially during periods of high volume to preserve a hospitable experience for our guests.
Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education and/or Experience.
  • Ability to count US currency and accurately complete payment transactions.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures as found in typical kitchen environments.
  • Winter outdoor work may be required i.e. snow shoveling loading/unloading delivery trucks etc.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 25-50 lbs.
  • Ability to learn POS sales point systems and functions.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English speak and understand verbal and written communications.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
  • Must be 16 years old
