In this role you will join the Cardiac Rhythm Management R&D organization. You will develop and execute electrical hardware automated tests related to the design and development of implantable cardiac medical devices. You will work closely with Design Engineers to understand product requirements and develop tests for those requirements. This role requires a proactive independent approach and a commitment to excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and implement automated test solutions using LabVIEW to interface with various testing equipment.
Perform Test Method Validation (TMV) and document detailed test procedures.
Configure hardware execute automated and manual tests and summarize test data for review by Design Engineers.
Provide regular updates on testing progress to Technicians Design Engineers and Program Managers.
Ensure full compliance with applicable quality policies and procedures to maintain a high standard in the quality system.
Required Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Requires high school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience in developing and executing automated tests using LabVIEW or similar software.
Proficiency in programming and operating electrical lab equipment such as oscilloscopes power supplies waveform generators and network analyzers.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience in a regulated industry particularly medical devices.
Proficiency in writing and managing test documentation.
Solid understanding of circuit boards electrical components and electrical engineering fundamentals.
Familiarity with communication protocols like RS-232 RS-485 GPIB TCP/IP EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP.
Experience working with embedded systems and validating software in regulated environments.
Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
