SAP SCM Manufacturing & Asset Management engineering team is seeking highly motivated Senior developer to be part of Empowered Product Team in Asset Management.
What youll do
As part of a diverse team you will work closely with our development teams architects and product management to identify address govern design and implementation activities ensuring compliance with architectural constraints (e.g. product standards production constraints).
In this role you will be involved with designing implementing and testing of solutions in an innovative environment with openness for new technologies and drive topics to resolution to a high level of quality speed reliability and efficiency.
You will be expected to design code test and assure quality of complex product features via Agile techniques.
As a senior developer you will be supporting development teams by explaining them the requirements guide and review the development assure compliance with architectural constraints and standards as well as work closely together with other architects.
What you bring
- Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent experience with 8 years of overall relevant professional experience.
- Experience with Application Development with relation to at least one Supply Chain domains (PLM Supply Chain Planning Manufacturing Logistics Asset Management) will be preferred.
- Stakeholder Management.
- High level of commitment towards ownership of product/topic will be the key for success
- Proven track record of successful contribution to projects/products on the cloud.
- Experience in the design development and delivery of cloud software.
- Proven experience in investigating the feasibility of requirements breaking them down into work packages and estimating them
Skills
- Sound understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Principles Design Patterns.
- Solid foundation with relational database & PL/SQL.
- Hands on experience with RESTful APIs (RAP) Web services ABAP CDS
- Hands on experience with SAP Fiori Development
- Experience with SAP Build SAP Joule Agent Builder SAP AI Core SAP BTP will be an advantage.
- Must be results oriented and demonstrate a can-do attitude adaptability flexibility and resourcefulness.
- Exhibit familiarity with Agile methodologies coding standards and Test-Driven Development (TDD) including unit testing component testing contract testing and end-to-end test automation.
- Hands on experience on S/4 HANA Integration architecture Event driven architecture Identity and Authorization Management concepts.
- Understand lean development infrastructure processes including Git Jenkins etc. and have exposure to Continuous Delivery and DevOps practices. Familiarity with CILTS will be an added advantage.
- Commitment towards continuous learning and staying updated on the latest industry trends and good practices.
