Be part of the QinetiQ journey. We are currently recruiting for a Configuration Manager to join QinetiQ Target Systems (QTS) within our Engineering Team.

QTS is a wholly owned subsidiary of QinetiQ Group PLC specialising in the design and manufacture of a range of state-of-the-art Unmanned Aerial and Surface Target Systems including the world leading Banshee effectiveness of frontline military operations is dependent upon the Armed Services having the right equipment and undergoing thorough training against realistic threats. Achieving this effectiveness requires rigorous testing and integration of military equipment with the warfighter and extensive training before deployment.

QTS is a world leader in the design development manufacture and operation of advanced target systems for live-fire training exercises and weapons test and evaluation.

The Role
As a Configuration Manager you will be responsible for delivering maintaining and improving high quality technical configuration solutions by working closely with other Engineering disciplines.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Productconfiguration management plans processes and procedure ownership
• Product engineering change control process and procedure ownership
• Management and leadership of the Engineering Configuration team
• Configuration status records processes and procedure ownership
• Identifying current industry best Configuration Management practices to support and develop new procedures

Essential experience of the Configuration Manager:

• You must have previous experience within configuration management
• The Configuration Manager must also have leadership experience

This role is 37 hours per week based at QTS Ashford. Hybrid working patterns are available.
