Job Description

Expanding the team

ersg are looking for a Senior Pay & Bill Administrator to join our team of 5. We're looking for someone who can complement the existing team and enhance the already best-in-class pay/bill service we offer to our contractors & clients. Timesheet and expense data is currently processed via RSM InTime with payments to our contractors being made either weekly or monthly and in line with our payroll schedules for both the UK and International contractors. This position will provide you with the opportunity to develop your core skills and experience in a payroll/operations environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring we maintain our best-in-class pay/bill service to both our contractors & clients.
  • Assist with the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data into our processing system RSM InTime.
  • The processing of weekly and monthly payrolls for UK & International contractors, ensuring payments are processed in accordance with our payroll schedules.
  • Engage with our clients and contractors to proactively resolve queries in a quick and efficient manner.
  • To build and maintain excellent relationships with other key stakeholders from around the business.
  • Liaise with our Customer Services and Operations Support teams to take ownership of any new client onboarding, to ensure the Payroll team have clear instructions of any client billing requirements outside of the norm.
  • Working with the finance team to ensure our aged creditors accounts are fully reconciled and where necessary investigate any outstanding balances.
  • Participate in the constant evaluation or our pay/bill processes and where necessary suggest workable enhancements.
  • Staying updated on any payroll legislation changes relevant to the recruitment industry and ensuring a compliant approach across the team.

About you:

  • Ideally of 2+ years of experience within a Payroll or Finance Administrator role with demonstratable experience of responsibilities and relevant skills in line with the job specification (preferably within the recruitment sector).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively address any inquiries and concerns related to payroll.
  • An enthusiastic and pro-active approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing complex payroll scenarios.
  • Can demonstrate ability to use initiative to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • The ability to balance and prioritise duties in a manner that allows all deadlines to be met.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in payroll processing, RSM InTime is desirable.
  • A flexible and adaptable individual with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
