Job Purpose:

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly efficient and professional manner. This role ensures the bar is well-stocked clean and complies with hygiene and safety standards while delivering a memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Beverage Preparation & Service:
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and mocktails.
• Serve beverages to guests at the bar or through waitstaff.
2. Guest Engagement:
• Greet guests take drink orders and provide recommendations.
• Maintain a positive welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
3. Bar Operations:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Ensure all bar tools glasses and equipment are clean and in working condition.
• Set up and stock bar with necessary supplies before and during shifts.
4. Inventory & Cost Control:
• Monitor inventory levels of bar items and inform supervisor for replenishment.
• Minimize waste and ensure proper usage of beverages and garnishes.
• Follow portion control and accurate billing procedures.
5. Compliance & Safety:
• Adhere to hygiene health and safety regulations.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service in line with local laws and company policies.
• Check identification of customers when necessary.
6. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in bar promotions and special event preparations.
