This position is in Cargills animal nutrition and health business where we improve animal lives through better nutrition. Our team researches innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.

Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00 /hr

Accurately perform and record monitoring activities process verifications and audits throughout the facility including raw material audits documenting deviations and/or recording corrective actions taken
Monitoring and enforcing all plant specific and corporate food safety programs
Performing pre-operational inspections and along with performing quality monitoring of product and processes
Documenting and maintaining record keeping utilizing a computer as necessary
Auditing supplies to maintain inventory and designing and implementing new procedures and/or techniques
Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to 50lbs kneeling climbing crawling and twisting safely with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat cold dust loud noise etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic use of a computer
Ability to work overtime including weekends holidays or different shifts with advance notice
High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in production and or similar military environment
Associates Degree in Science related field
Prior Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience
Prior knowledge of Pet Food manufacturing
