Supply Chain Associate

Aerometals is looking to add the following position:

Supply Chain Associate

Pay range: $22 - $29 Hourly DOE

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

• Be a point of contact for supplier related nonconformances.
• Collaborate with suppliers when corrected paperwork is needed.
• Assist with Time Sensitive Materials (TSM) by completing tasks such as:
  • Buying TSM items and tracking expiration dates.
  • Occasionally helping Planning look at TSM for upcoming jobs.
• Complete purchase orders for items such as but not limited to: jobs calibration shop stock office supplies outside processing non-job items etc.
• Update PO internal notes with real time information such as: contact initiated with supplier current status due dates tracking reason codes etc.
• Help maintain the approved supplier database by assisting with surveys questionnaires and/or certificates.
• Assist with supplier contracts pricing and areas for improvement for freight suppliers and service providers.
• Collaborate with the finance department to set up new suppliers.
• Clean up/close old purchase orders (POs).
• Perform other duties as required by the organization.

Qualification Requirements:

Education: High school diploma

Skills:

• Well organized
• Ability to multi-task
• Self-driven
• Great verbal and written communication abilities

Experience: 2 years of transferable experience

Training: On the job training.

Aerometals Inc. of El Dorado Hills California is a 40-year veteran of commercial and military aerospace manufacturing. We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning sheet metal fabrication welding assembly autoclave and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Customers include the US Military Boeing Lockheed Sikorsky etc.
