Job Description:
The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris is seeking a Program Scheduler to join ourteam. Duties include managing the development and maintenance of complex program schedules including resource loading and Earned Value Analysis. This position also supports the programs in developing plans and integrating inputs from all programs. Qualified candidate will interface with all elements of the program team to develop and support regular maintenance of the program IMS. This individual will perform schedule analysis in support of assigned programs and projects. Ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance engineering material manufacturing and quality. Track plans and schedules perform risk analysis identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilize Critical path Driving Path Variance metrics milestone charts Earned Value Management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines per DECM metrics.
Essential Functions:
Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS).
Create and track plans and schedules perform risk analysis and identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
Perform Critical Path Analysis Schedule Risk Analysis and Schedule Metric Analysis.
Manage complex projects or processes with general oversight.
Communicate within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes practices and procedures.
Contribute to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.
Perform regular analysis of program schedules to evaluate program and enterprise-wide resource needs through the integration of all program schedules.
Validation and program baseline maintenance including support of Earned Value Management performance metrics.
Ensure projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance engineering material manufacturing and quality.
Ensure compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
Communicate within and outside of own function or business area.
May lead or participate in scheduling status reviews.
Participate in schedule training engineering and program excellence organization.
Up to 20% business travel to other L3Harris sites.
Ability to obtain US Security Clearence.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with 4 years prior scheduling experience Graduate Degree with2 years prior scheduling lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related scheduling experience.
1 Years experience creating and/or maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and any Supporting Schedules on assigned projects/programs.
1 Years experience creating and presenting project-level reports presentationsanddeliverables that reflect risk and status to program management to the IMS.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Working knowledge of Planning & Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG) Latest Version EVMS Standard (EIA 748-D) Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD) and Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) strongly desired.
Monte Carlo Risk Analysis (Schedule Risk Analysis).
Agile Development methodologies associated with EVMS.
Critical thinking and problem solving.
Attention to detail and quality of product deliverables.
EVMS - Earned Value Management Systems.
Familiarity with scheduling ad-on tools such as OPDEC Structured Solutions - SSI tools management RiskyProject or similar scheduling support software.
Experience with cost and schedule integration software.
Experience in macro development.
Ability to work with a team and on their own.
