In this position you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships and bookings with our current and prospective clients identifying new opportunities for value creation within assigned accounts and understanding the specific needs and challenges of various collaborators within those accounts.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Developing and maintaining strong long-term relationships with account collaborators ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and dedication driving account plans to acquire accounts identifying product white spaces creating demand and identifying green-or brownfield project opportunities.
  • Stakeholder engagement mapping out the key partners within customer organizations understanding their roles responsibilities and building relationships between them and the various Emerson sales personas.
  • Conducting detailed needs assessments in collaboration with BDMs to identify customer pains problems and challenges that our products or solutions can address. Understanding the customers business drivers and process/operational environment.
  • Presenting and differentiating tailored solutions to partners demonstrating how our products can meet their specific needs and solve their problems.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within assigned accounts from lead to PO focusing on enhancing the potential of our product portfolio including filling whitespace and generate new demand for our products and services.
  • Working closely with support team BDMs and specialists to ensure high quality customer conversations and solution and services development. Assigning ownership of complex or long lead pursuit to Solutions BDM or project pursuit leaders.
  • Realizing price through using the portfolio creating customer value and defining account strategies balancing price and volume.
  • Staying informed about industry trends market conditions and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market demands.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in the field (process automation).
  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience ideally in instrumentation or a related technical field.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to quickly learn complex products and service offerings.
  • Experience in CRM.
  • Fluency in Italian language.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Availability to travel up to 60% of the time throughout the Lombardia region.
