- Visit stores to engage with staff at all levels through safety discussions and training
- Participate in site inspections make recommendations and take action to eliminate or reduce risk and increase safety awareness
- Assist with maintaining records of monthly safety meetings inspections and trainings
- Assist in creating safety training materials and safe work procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and investigations to
- Support compliance with all applicable WorkSafe BC and Alberta OHS legislation.
- Lead by example
- Other tasks as required
- You are a highly motivated individual with a passion for safety excellence
- You are able to travel with overnight stays
- You have a positive attitude to lead and influence others
- You have strong technical skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills
- You can exercise sound judgement discretion and confidentiality
- You can adapt to changing demands
- You can work as a team and independently
