About the Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager our Maintenance Officer is responsible for delivering general maintenance and repairs of buildings fixtures and fittings Homes and associated structures in accordance with the Home Maintenance Plan to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents staff and visitors.
Manage and undertake inspection & delivery of statutory preventative & corrective maintenance of the facility
Provide supervision and coordination of site contractors
Ensure an aesthetic compliant and safe working environment
Ensure maintenance and repairs of property including facilities including cleaning painting lighting maintenance TV installations hanging paintings disposal of rubbish checking and maintaining air conditioning tiling basic plumbing furniture removal and general repairs
Ensure planned maintenance of Home assets is executed in accordance with the Maintenance Plan and legislative requirements
Ensure all maintenance activity complies with relevant legislation
Use preferred suppliers where relevant and ensure all works are conducted within budget and follow workflow procedures
Carry-out scheduled tasks within agreed timelines

To be successful you will have:
Hands on experience of building maintenance work and procedures.
Min 2yrs experience in a similar role
Experience in Contractor Management
Experience in managing site maintenance budgets work orders and requisitions
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Knowledge & application of relevant legislation requirements codes & standards
Moderate Computer literacy
OHS White Card
Current drivers licence
A pre-employment medical assessment will be required for this role
Current COVID & Annual Flu Vaccination (Mandatory)
The successful applicant must complete a National Police Check and may need to complete an NDIS Worker Screen.
