The Risk/Compliance Assistant assists the Director of Quality Risk Emergency Operations and Safety in gathering analyzing and interpreting data related to risk incidents compliance and quality issues and patient safety concerns. Collects documents and analyzes incident reports identifying trends and leadership in the standardized use of the Just Culture and Root-Cause Analysis incident investigation methods. Assists leaders to conduct analysis to apply to the learning from review of incidents and consistently seek improvement and mitigation opportunities in support of our organizational duty to produce safe and quality patient outcomes. Supports documenting minutes and action items through analysis and projects. Contributes to the identification assessment and prioritization of risks and support the development and implementation of mitigation in ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations standards and best includes duties such as supporting internal audit processes and software processes in advancing compliance requirements. Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by supporting the department leadership in projects and in fostering a positive culture of engagement in change management throughout the the risk management plan by coordinating meetings and assisting with record in delivering training programs on risk management topics.
Assists the Clinical Education Department for up to 10-hours per week to provide administrative support for the educational program goals and objectives as delegated.
