Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Tubular Products - Birmingham is seeking applicants for the Crane and Mobile Equipment Tech position. This role supports the coordination and execution of safely maintaining troubleshooting repairing and upgrading all overhead traveling cranes and plant mobile equipment.
We are not offering sponsorship for this position at this time.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Recommendation fromSupervisor and/or Manager
- Safe work record and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Proven self-starter with demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude with crane/mobile equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience
- At least five (5) years experience in crane/mobile equipment maintenance
