Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Nucor Rebar Fabrication West Accounting team in all aspects of internal inventory controls (P2P process FIFO layers Inventory Physical Counts)
Month end Journal entries/GL reconciliations
Support month end reporting
Compliance (tracking of Business/Contractor Licensure DOT reporting/tax filings)
Other projects as deemed necessary by the Accounting Manager/Controller
Occasional travel required for inventory counts.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Bachelors degree in accounting/finance
Demonstrated customer service problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement and can do attitude.
Strong verbal and written communications skills with all ranges of teammates and positions.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to adjust to a broad scope of job demands.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
