System Administrator
Location: Kolkata

Role Overview: We are looking for a System Administrator to join our team. The incumbent shall be working closely with the DevOps/Infra team and support them with day to day administrative work maintenance support troubleshooting of IT related issues etc. and collaborate with other teams to strengthen and further develop the existing infrastructure and environments. We are looking for someone who would like to start their career with a steep learning curve and who is ready to take up challenges and grow along the way.
Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
Conduct day to day Linux administration tasks.
Set up Linux machines for various projects and operational needs.
Install OS Open Source Applications etc. as per requirements.
Maintain user/group administration & passwords etc.
Conduct data wipe-out activity as per requirement.
Support employees with maintenance and troubleshooting of issues on computers and laptops. Should be able to troubleshoot on WAN/LAN/WiFi environments.
Coordinate with H/W and S/W vendors and perform IT related support activities.
Take preventive measures prepare and provide necessary information to improve the stability security efficiency and scalability of the environment.
Work collaboratively with other teams and employees to continue developing Linux infrastructure.
Perform any other work related duties as assigned.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Graduation in technical stream - year of experience as Linux Administrator.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.
Knowledge/experience of the following will be preferred -
a)Firewall/VPN b) WiFi c) Windows & Mac OS (Client) d) Endpoint Protection e) Diagnose and troubleshooting on network and client computers f) AWS and Azure cloud platform basics.
