Key job responsibilities
Deliver internal Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training to Amazon standards
Review and improve site-training completion rates together with managers and associates
Help to audit metrics such as safety quality and process across sites
Complete all relevant paperwork and update Learning tracking systems
Monitor and provide feedback on current group of PIT operators
Report on safety performance of PIT operators and use the information to improve the effectiveness of our training
Undertake auditing of safety standards and procedures throughout the FC
Advise Associates and Managers on Company procedures regarding PIT safety training and standards
A day in the life
The role of Trainer is about sharing and upholding our process standards. Youll deliver high-quality training that outlines safety culture and site-specific procedures to Amazon employees as well as external partners along with a warm welcome for new hires. As a Trainer youll make sure everyone sticks to the highest operating standards. Youll know how to constructively deliver feedback that helps learners grow and develop.
Youll be based on-site at one of our operational facilities delivering in-person and online training to the team across a variety of shift patterns. You may also support other sites when required. Youll work independently but will regularly liaise with key site staff and stakeholders.
About the team
Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care. Not only do we deliver large items but we unpack assemble and install them and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety productivity and innovation were changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.
Relevant experience of using clear communication including evidence of delivering training groups and creating corresponding communications and training materials
Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word Excel Outlook) in a professional environment
Advanced proficiency in the local language
(C1 Common European Framework of Reference CEFR)

CAT 1 PIT trainer license
Experience in a coaching mentoring or teaching role
