Residential Counselor
BAMSI (Brockton Area Multi-Services Inc.)
Location: Brockton MA
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: 20hrs - Fri & Sat 11p-9a
Pay: $18 - $21.75 (Pay differentials will be applied for MAP and/or CNA certifications and for Weekend shifts)

Job Summary
As a Residential Counselor you will support individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities in a home setting. Help them build independence develop life skills and engage meaningfully with their community.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (bathing grooming mobility hygiene).
- Support daily living tasks (cooking cleaning shopping money management).
- Encourage independence and self-advocacy.
- Facilitate community involvement and relationships.
- Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and behavioral supports.
- Administer medications per MAP guidelines.
- Provide transportation to appointments programs and social activities.
- Communicate using tools suited to individual needs (email tablets letter boards).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CNA Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 2575 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
