Design the Future with Global Team of Experts
We are looking for a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Ground Engineering team in the UK (offices in Bristol Derby Glasgow London and York) giving you the opportunity to co-create with our experts on some of the most prestigious infrastructure programmes in the UK. Working alongside our design and engineering teams youll be responsible for technical deliverables including hydrogeological models parameters and reports with the opportunity to further develop skills in ground engineering and general project management responsibilities.
On a day-to-day basis youll be responsible for:

• Preparation of desk study reports ground investigation reports and derivation of hydrogeological parameters
• Development of hydrogeological numerical models
• Design and supervision of ground investigation
• Other visits to sites as required
• Participation in hydrogeological ground engineering and other relevant company training
• Mentoring junior staff in the ground engineering team

Furthermore youll:

• Have a bachelors degree in geology (or a similar geoscience) and a masters in hydrogeology or equivalent
• Have obtained Chartered Geologist status from the Geological Society or an equivalent title such as Chartered Engineer
• Have a sound understanding of various ground engineering systems with a preference for groundwater control tunnels earthworks deep excavations grouting and ground treatment
• Have the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
• Be self-motivated with proficient interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
• Have familiarity with Eurocodes and a sound understanding of CDM Regulations specifically the designers requirements and the risk assessment process
• Knowledge of methods such as AGS data Holebase Groundhog and Leapfrog software is an advantage
• Holding a full UK driving license is beneficial
