The purpose of the Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Advisor is to assist with the development and implementation of effective internal and external stakeholder engagement and communications to support the activities of the Legislation Policy and Information Services Division (LPIS) in the review development and implementation of legislative and policy projects. Working with the Manager Stakeholder Engagement and Communications the position is responsible for identifying and managing stakeholder issues risks and opportunities providing proactive and reactive advice and support across the Division and other areas of the business. About you
You will have proven experience in developing and managing stakeholder relationships and a demonstrated understanding of the process and content required for stakeholder engagement. You will bring sound communication skills and have experience in developing communications plans messages and materials on a range of complex issues. You will have an ability to undertake research and analysis and produce accurate briefs and presentations. An understanding of WorkSafe Victorias legislative and regulatory framework and Commonwealth-State processes and intergovernmental relations is highly desirable.
