Greenbriar Veterinary Hospital and Luxury Pet Resortis seeking a full-time Lead Pet Resort Attendantto join our team!

As a lead resort attendant your main responsibilities are toprovide luxury-level care to our boarding patients. Greenbriar not only provides boarding services to dogs but to cats and pocket pets as well.

Resort attendant leads are mainly responsible for the care of the dogs and cats but should always be on the lookout for the best care of all animals here at yard cleaning cleaning of the suites bathing and caring for the cats are the main duties of the resort techs.

Position overview:
Shift leaders are responsible for the overall care of all animals boarding with us at Greenbriar both incoming and outgoing. Shift leads use their animal experience and knowledge to manage resort staff throughout the day guiding them through their daily tasks and responsibilities all while ensuring that every animal goes home happy healthy and clean while also maintaining a clean environment.
Reporting structure:
Resort technicians report to shift-leads for guidance and direction. Shift leaders report and information to the resort general manager. On occasion shift leaders will be given direction from the director medical director or other leaders with in the building.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Building relationships with long time clients and their pets
  • Basic use of the computer system (checking animals using the whiteboard/schedulerworkday etc)
  • Keep records and notes in Cornerstone documenting client conversations along with any obscure observed dog behavior
  • Being comfortable handling most small animal breeds (dogs cats pocket pets)
  • Guiding the resort staff and supporting them with duties when needed
  • Providing feedback and reviews to staff
  • Overall health and well being of animals in our care
  • Cleanliness of the resort departments
  • Willing to help out as needed with various tasks throughout the building

Personal conduct:
  • Adheres to all expectations and duties outlined
  • Demonstrates initiative in everyday duties by staying busy and on task assisting others during downtime and filling in for others as needed
  • Displays courtesy consideration and a positive attitude in all interactions with clients patients and other staff members
  • Exercises time management skills for efficiency
  • Proficient in multitasking
