Job Summary
Tetra Pak is seeking an experienced Service Engineer for a challenging and rewarding role within our Customer Service Operations (CSO) team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently while being fully accountable for delivering high-quality service to our customers.

What you will do
As a Service Engineer you will:
- Participate in preparing customer site for installation and commissioning events of packaging equipment.
- Participate in execution of preventive maintenance activities for packaging equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on site and remotely.
- Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff in a timely manner about discovered Technical Issues.
- Participate in the installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits.
- Inform relevant Tetra Pak Field Staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customer or the quality of Tetra Pak service.
- Always Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak ensuring good working relationships with the customer and Tetra Pak colleagues and that Tetra Paks reputation is sustained.
- Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements. Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety quality assurance and regulatory issues.
- Conducts production supervision and training of customer personnel on Tetra Pak equipment.
- Comply with all reporting requirements.
We believe you have
- Technical or engineering background and relevant technical experience for at least 5 years including mechanical (hydraulic and pneumatic) experience and electrical experience PLC knowledge (PLC equipment including Siemens TIA Portal Siemens S7-300 S7-1500 Rockwell RS LogixPLC programming software Intouch (Wonderware).
- Strong mechanical experience will be an advantage which would include packaging knowledge.
- Commitment to a health and safety culture.
- Ability to make your own decisions and to solve problems under time and customer pressure.
- Experience in the food industry is seen as beneficial.
- Experience with Tetra Pak equipment will be an advantage.
- A good command ofEnglish language(written and oral) skills is required.
- A valid driving license (B category.
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders with a customer focused mindset
- Ability to travel up to and about 75% of the time
- Administration reports expenses and daily feedback.
- An attitude to represent Tetra Pak at our customers such as:
- Be service-oriented putting the customer at first place.
- Team player with high commitment but with the ability to act decisively if/when needed.
- Developed problem-solving skills with an ability to apply structure and priority to duties.
- Persistent and efficient with a logical/structured way to solve issues.
