What to Expect
The Sr. Product Development and Pricing Associate will assist in various analytical aspects of product development and portfolio management to help meet organizational goals. Key areas of support include pricing and product development project approvals and communication business process improvement project management and risk management across all HCI programs.
What You Will Do
1. Pricing Support:
Provide quantitative and analytical support for the pricing and profitability of HCI programs.
2. Product Development:
Provide analytical support and quantitative analysis to identify product opportunities for growth and profitability.
Support report development and analysis for OEM programs.
3. Project Management:
Assist in establishing processes and tools for planning scheduling tracking and reporting. Draft business cases gather requirements define SLAs.
Participate in testing and project launches.
4. Compliance/Audit:
Validate pricing coverage program rules system logic business rules.
Support form development and regulatory/lender approval.
5. Risk Management:
Monitor claim management and goodwill activities by HCI administrator.
Assist with cancelation exposure tracking and execution.
Support escalations and exceptions to ensure balance between customer and dealer satisfaction vs. program loss and financial impact.
What You Will Bring
Minimum 4-6 years related experience with financial calculation and analytical frameworks to compare financial products and pricing.
Experience working on pricing programs for an insurance or finance organization a plus.
Experience with programming skills in languages such as Python/SQL/SAS and object-oriented languages including Visual Basic.
Bachelors degree in Marketing Sales Management Business Statistics or related field.
Strong technical analytical written and interpersonal communication skills.
Intermediate programming skills in languages such as Python/SQL/SAS and object-oriented languages including Visual Basic.
Proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Resourceful and innovative problem-solving skills
Team oriented but able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Self-directed and results oriented.
Work Environment
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting standing and walking and using a computer. Work is performed in an office environment.
