What youll do

• As a PhD student(f/m/d)you will work with a team of experienced researchers anddata scientists working on Foundation Models for structured business data
• You will have the chance to work with some of the richest data sets availablein the world addressing real-world problems
• The focus is on Privacy in Foundation Models on Structured Data
• Design and evaluate experiments to assess and advance Data Privacy suchas Inference Attacks aiming to extract information from Training Data
• Contribute to research that can be applied to SAP product development withpotential for publication and broader impact in the privacy and machinelearning community

What you bring

• You are a PhD student (f/m/d)at least in your second year or PostDocs ideally specializing in research in one of the following areas: Foundation Models onStructured Data or Privacy-preserving Machine Learning
• Experience with a strong foundation in machine learning including building systems utilizing deep learning LLMs Foundation Models
• Proficient in PyTorch Python and HuggingFace Transformers with a good understanding of statistical analysis and shell programming
• A plus is having a strong publication record in recognized ML/NLPconferences or journals such as ACL EMNLP ICLR ICML NeurIPS
• Must be fluent in English
• The duration of the internship is at least 4 months but ideally 6 months and shouldtake place in the first half of 2026
