Position OverviewOur client is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Representative to drive business growth within the retail petroleum sector. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle-from lead generation to deal closure-while promoting innovative electronic price signage and fuel pricing software solutions.
This is a client-facing position focused on delivering value building lasting relationships and achieving measurable results.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the retail petroleum industry.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Conduct detailed client needs assessments and customize solutions accordingly.
Present and demonstrate product features and benefits to prospective customers.
Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts pricing proposals and service agreements.
Facilitate onboarding and training for new and existing customers.
Stay informed of industry trends competitor products and technological developments.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions within CRM systems (e.g. NetSuite).
Represent the company at trade shows conferences and industry events.
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of B2B technical sales experience preferably within the manufacturing sector.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems such as NetSuite.
Exceptional communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated results-driven and skilled in problem-solving.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Willingness and ability to travel 50% 70% of the time.
