Job Description
Location: Brenham TX 77833
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Clinical Judgment
- Foster a supportive evidence-based work environment.
- Collaborate on patient care plans with the healthcare team.
- Address patient/family concerns and allocate resources effectively.
- Supervise staff to ensure safe efficient and cost-effective care.
- Maintain staff competency aligned with patient needs.
- Provide direct nursing care when needed.
Clinical Inquiry
- Evaluate and improve nursing practice quality.
- Support practice changes through performance improvement.
- Participate in or lead clinical research initiatives.
Caring Practices
- Ensure a compassionate safe and therapeutic care environment.
- Lead care conferences and interdisciplinary rounds for optimal patient outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards and patient care procedures.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines hospital protocols and professional ethics.
- Proficient in medical terminology and nursing pharmacology.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills both verbal and written.
- Education: Associate s Degree in Nursing
- Experience: Minimum of 2 Years of Nursing Experience (Labor & Delivery)
- License/Certification:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Texas State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not current
