RN Labor and Delivery (Permanent Role) Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Essential Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive assessments and prioritize care based on patient and family needs.
- Develop implement and continuously evaluate individualized care plans.
- Adapt care strategies to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families emphasizing professionalism and empathy.
- Provide education to patients families and colleagues on health topics and care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and the community to support continuity of care.
- Safely delegate and supervise tasks ensuring accountability and timely follow-up.
- Identify and address problems using critical thinking and collaborative strategies.
- Maintain high standards of safety efficiency and effectiveness in patient care delivery.
- Contribute to the development of peers and participate in community outreach efforts.
Key Success Factors: - In-depth knowledge of nursing standards care procedures and clinical regulations.
- Understanding of state nursing laws hospital policies and best practices.
- Familiarity with common medications side effects and disease management principles.
- Commitment to ethical nursing practice and respect for patient confidentiality.

- Basic computer proficiency including EMR systems Microsoft Office and scheduling tools.
Minimum Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited RN program
- 1 year of recent RN experience in Labor and Delivery or Postpartum (required)
- Active RN license in Texas state
- BLS certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire if not already certified)
