Job Summary:
This temporary-to-permanent Medical Assistant position requires a local candidate with at least six months of experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting (cardiology preferred). The role involves providing clinical and administrative support in a cardiology clinic including patient vitals (including manual blood pressure) 12-lead EKGs chart preparation medication refills and record requests. A Washington Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license is required.
Location: Seattle Washington United States
Responsibilities:
- Taking patient vitals including manual blood pressure readings.
- Performing 12-lead EKGs.
- Preparing charts and medical records.
- Assisting with medication refills and record requests.
- Performing other administrative tasks as needed.
- Communicating effectively with patients and the healthcare team.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Washington Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license.
- At least six months of experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to perform manual blood pressure readings.
- Proficiency in performing 12-lead EKGs.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a cardiology clinic.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records.

- This is a temporary-to-permanent position.
- Local candidates only (within a 50-mile radius).
- Candidate must have reliable transportation.
- No on-call requirements.
- Floating to other areas within the scope of practice may be required.
Scheduling:
- Five 8-hour days Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
