Job Summary:
This role is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IRT) in a hospital setting. The IRT will provide assistance to surgeons during endovascular procedures operate and maintain imaging equipment and maintain a sterile field. The position requires significant experience and specific certifications.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting surgeons during endovascular procedures in two hybrid operating room suites.
- Operating and maintaining Siemens imaging equipment.
- Utilizing PACS for image retrieval.
- Maintaining equipment and inventory.
- Stocking supplies.
- Performing a range of endovascular procedures (Angioplasty Aortography Embolization etc.).
- Performing vascular closure procedures.
- Maintaining sterile technique and adhering to isolation precautions.
- Running a c-arm in an open room for vascular surgeons during open vascular cases.
- Accurate monitoring of patients.
- Equipment setup and preparation of access sites.
- Scrubbing and maintaining a sterile field.
- Utilizing Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose StarClose).
- Participating in Storm Team/Hurricane Team response as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience with Laser Assisted Procedures.
- Proficiency with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
- Experience with Siemens equipment.
- Experience with a variety of endovascular procedures (Angioplasty Aortography Embolization etc.).
- Experience with Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose StarClose).
- ARRT (R and VI OR R and CV) certification.
- Proficiency in sterile technique and isolation precautions.
- Experience with Philips and Ultrasound equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Not a first-time traveler.

Special Considerations:
- Position is located in a hospital operating room environment with two endovascular hybrid suites.
- Requires participation in a Storm Team/Hurricane Team for disaster response.
- RTO (Return to Office) is not allowed. Call-offs or additional RTO may result in shift cancellation.
- Unit does not accept first-time travelers.
- Consolidation to a centralized office may occur mid-contract.
Scheduling:
- 4 ten-hour shifts (0630-1700).
- Call requirement: One night per week and every third weekend.
- Weekend requirement: Every third weekend.
- Two-week 80-hour orientation.
- Scrubs are provided.
