Job Description
Located in Lakeland Florida Client has been manufacturing wooden roof and floor trusses for residential and commercial contractors since 1993. We offer wooden house trusses supplies and sealed engineering drawings to general building contractors ensuring accurate drawings for all project sizes. Our experienced team provides truss-to-truss connections and uses different types of metal hangers for connecting trusses. Delivering high-quality products and exceptional service is our priority and we serve most areas in Florida except the Panhandle region.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Truss Designer located in Lakeland FL. The Senior Truss Designer will be responsible for designing wooden trusses for both residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating architectural drawings ensuring structural integrity and working closely with customers to understand and meet their requirements. The Senior Truss Designer will also collaborate with the engineering team to produce sealed engineering drawings.
Qualifications
- Experience with Truss and Timber design
- Proficiency in Architectural Drawings
- Customer Service skills
- Knowledge in Structural Engineering
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on-site in Lakeland FL
- Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering or related field preferred
