Job Title: Technical Support & Facilities Specialist

Salary Range: $70000 - $80000/year (Actual compensation will be based on experience geographic location and skill set.)
Reports to: Technical Engineer & Facilities Manager
Travel: Required; maybe about 20% and will depend on the clients needs.

Position Summary
As the Technical Support & Facilities Specialist you will be in a hands-on solutions-driven role responsible for ensuring our on-site printer fleet remains fully operational assisting with troubleshooting and supporting facility maintenance. This role is client-facing requiring excellent communication skills and a calm professional demeanor when interacting with both internal teams and external vendors.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives on variety takes initiative and enjoys solving problems whether thats fixing a printer rebooting a network connection or coordinating a weekend repair project with a vendor.
What Youll Do
Printer & Technical Support (Approximately 80%)
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for all printer-related troubleshooting maintenance and repair with a strong emphasis on Customer Focus and Service Excellence. (e.g. Zebra or industrial printers)
- Be on-call for urgent print repair needs and perform site visits to resolve issues promptly.
- Provide professional and courteous support to internal teams and external clients.
- Maintain and order print supplies coordinate with third-party service providers.
- Assist the IT Department with basic tech troubleshooting (e.g. setting up workstations resolving minor hardware/software issues) ensuring Continuous Improvement through documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Record and report technical issues resolutions and recurring problems to help improve systems and processes.
Facilities & Building Operations (Approximately 20%)
- Support the daily functionality perform routine inspections complete basic repairs upkeep and safety of the building.
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs records maintenance cleaning and supply management.
- Assist with facility projects and vendor visits occasionally during evening or weekend hours.
- Monitor building supplies and reorders and participate in planning for facility improvements.
- Be a reliable liaison for building-related concerns resolving issues collaboratively and with Teamwork.
- 24/7 on-call status for building emergencies.
- Promptly responding to requests for emergency repairs and clean-ups.
- Conduct supply runs and assist the events team with setup cleanup and teardown of events.
What Youll Bring:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in technical repair and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of basic IT systems and office technology troubleshooting experience with hardware troubleshooting/fixing (printers especially).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in facilities or vendor coordination is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal customer service and time management skills.

Position will require:
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends to meet operational needs.
- Travel to client sites to repair printers.
- On call 24/7 in case there are any emergencies after hours (burglar alarm)
- Big projects can call for weekend work
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in warehousing and mechanical room environments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Frequent walking bending lifting and the use of tools or small electronic devices.
