Job Title: Senior MS SQL Developer (Memsql)
Location: Tampa FL (Hybrid 2 days onsite per week)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MS SQL Developer to join our dynamic team in Tampa FL. This role requires expertise in SQL Server development and experience with distributed high-performance databases like MemSQL (SingleStore). The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hybrid environment and will bring strong database development optimization and data integration experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain complex SQL Server database solutions including stored procedures views functions and indexing strategies.
- Work with MemSQL/SingleStore for real-time data ingestion and querying.
- Optimize database performance including troubleshooting bottlenecks and query tuning.
- Collaborate with data architects analysts and application developers to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Implement data transformation and migration processes using ETL tools and scripting.
- Ensure database security integrity and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to best practices in SQL development and database design.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of experience in MS SQL Server development
- Hands-on experience with MemSQL (SingleStore) or other distributed SQL databases
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL performance tuning and query optimization
- Experience in ETL development using tools like SSIS or custom scripting (Python PowerShell etc.)
- Understanding of database architecture indexing partitioning and data modeling
- Familiarity with real-time data processing and streaming architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP) is a plus
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of NoSQL and Big Data technologies
- Experience with CI/CD for database deployments
- Exposure to Power BI or other reporting tools
- Agile development experience
