Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer / Applications Developer
Location: Remote / Telework
Duration: Up to 5 years
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Software Engineer / Applications Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of mission-critical enterprise applications. This role will support full-stack application development using modern frameworks such as Angular NestJS and .NET Core while adhering to federal compliance requirements including Section 508 and IPv6 standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented comfortable in an Agile team environment and capable of delivering high-quality code that aligns with client goals and architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain robust and scalable applications on the client system platform
- Implement clean modular and testable code using Angular NestJS and .NET Core
- Collaborate with team members on backlog grooming sprint planning and code reviews
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs manage caching layers like Redis and containerize services with Docker
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility and IPv6 network compatibility
- Contribute to continuous improvement of application performance reliability and usability
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and hands-on experience with:
- Angular (front-end)
- NestJS (back-end)
- .NET Core (services/integration)
- Familiarity with:
- REST APIs Redis Docker and Git
- Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Understanding of federal accessibility (Section 508) and IPv6 standards
- Excellent debugging problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with the UpTick platform is highly desirable
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Knowledge of federal software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
