JOB TITLE: Sr. Solder Assembler - 1st Shift
LOCATION: Oldsmar FL
PAY RATE: Up to $26/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.
Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: Mon Thurs 5:00 AM 3:30 PM EST (OT available on weekends)

Summary:
Perform advanced rework on CCAs including:
BGA reballing and replacement
QFN and leadless package rework
High-density connector repair
Fine-pitch SMT component replacement
Assemble and solder electronic components:
Through-hole and SMT components
Utilize advanced soldering techniques (hand soldering reflow)
Operate microscopes to verify placement and orientation of components
Inspect and troubleshoot circuit card assemblies for defects
Collaborate with engineering to resolve design and manufacturing issues
Develop and execute rework procedures for new and legacy products
Perform mechanical assembly tasks:
Install stand-offs spacers and bonding agents (adhesives epoxies)
Align and assemble mechanical hardware to CCAs
Maintain a clean organized and ESD-compliant work area
Adhere to strict safety and quality standards
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
5 years of hands-on experience in soldering and advanced rework
Strong understanding of CCA assembly and repair techniques
Proficient with soldering tools and equipment:
Soldering irons/stations
Reflow ovens and hot air stations
Experience using inspection tools:
Microscopes X-ray and AOI/AXI systems
Excellent manual dexterity attention to detail and visual acuity
Ability to work efficiently under production deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
IPC Certifications preferred (e.g. IPC-A-610 IPC-7711/7721)
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
