Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced AWS Architect with hands-on expertise in Magento Open Source to lead the migration of our e-commerce platform from Adobe Commerce Cloud to a fully managed AWS environment. This role requires deep knowledge of AWS architecture patterns Dockerized deployments and Magento performance optimization in cloud-native setups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and oversee the migration of Magento Open Source to AWS ensuring performance scalability and security.
- Design and implement containerized infrastructure using Docker on AWS (ECS/EKS EC2 Fargate etc..
- Define best practices for deployment high availability CI/CD and backup/recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the UK US (EST) and India time zones to ensure smooth and handoffs.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven experience hosting Magento Open Source on AWS.
- Strong command of Docker and container orchestration in AWS environments.
- Deep understanding of AWS core services: EC2 S3 RDS CloudFront IAM and VPC networking.
- Experience designing high-availability cost-effective cloud solutions for e-commerce applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certification (e.g. Solutions Architect Associate or Professional).
- Familiarity with performance tuning and caching for Magento (Redis Varnish CloudFront).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch ELK Datadog etc..
