Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Cypress

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Cypress for automated testing of web applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern testing frameworks CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices to ensure quality across the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
- Build robust reusable and scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Collaborate with developers product managers and DevOps to understand application features and architecture.
- Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions CircleCI).
- Perform regression smoke and performance testing for web applications.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans test cases and test data sets.
- Identify bugs early through automated testing and provide detailed reports.
- Contribute to quality initiatives like code reviews metrics tracking and process improvement.
Required Skills:
- 3 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
- 2 years experience with .
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automation scripts.
- Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman or SuperTest.
- Good understanding of HTML CSS DOM structure and web debugging tools.
- Familiarity with BDD/TDD methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience integrating test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of additional automation tools like Selenium Playwright or TestCafe.
- Experience in cloud-based testing platforms (e.g. BrowserStack Sauce Labs).
- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter k6 is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git JIRA Confluence and test management tools.
- ISTQB or similar QA certifications (optional but a plus).
