Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Django Backend Lead Developer to join our team and drive the design and development of scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should bring deep expertise in Django Python and modern cloud platforms like Azure coupled with hands-on experience in big data processing using PySpark and Azure Databricks. This is a leadership role involving architecture-level contributions mentoring junior developers and ensuring end-to-end technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead backend development initiatives using Python and Django frameworks.

Architect and develop scalable secure and high-performing RESTful APIs.

Integrate and manage Azure Cloud Services for seamless deployment and scalability.

Implement and optimize big data processing pipelines using Azure Databricks and PySpark.

Work with Delta Lake and Delta tables for efficient data management.
-
Collaborate closely with frontend teams product managers and DevOps teams.
-
Conduct code reviews enforce coding standards and drive technical excellence.

Mentor and guide a team of junior to mid-level developers.

Participate in architecture design technical roadmapping and decision-making.

Ensure adherence to best practices in security performance and code quality.

Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL database solutions.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

8 years of professional experience in backend development.

Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Django and Python.

Proven experience in working with Azure Cloud services.

Strong expertise in Azure Databricks Delta Lake and PySpark.

Solid understanding of REST APIs microservices architecture and web standards.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
