Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets in the assigned area.
Manage train and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales goals.
Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with potential clients and key accounts.
Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Conduct regular field visits to ensure proper market coverage and customer engagement.
Analyse sales data and prepare reports for senior management on performance and forecasts.
Ensure effective implementation of promotional activities pricing strategies and marketing campaigns in the region.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing logistics finance) to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve escalated issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with company policies processes and ethical sales practices.
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Sales & Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience as a Sales Manager/Area Sales Manager with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Strong knowledge of the industry/market relevant to the company s products or services.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Strategic planning and execution capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
