Job Description
Job Title: Factory Manager
Plan organize and manage day-to-day factory operations to achieve production targets.
Oversee production schedules workflow management and ensure timely delivery of orders.
Monitor and maintain quality standards in alignment with company and industry specifications.
Implement cost control measures manage budgets and reduce wastage to increase profitability.
Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained and serviced for smooth operations.
Develop and enforce safety protocols ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
Manage workforce allocation training and performance appraisal to enhance productivity.
Collaborate with procurement inventory and supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
Analyse production data prepare reports and present to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Drive process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering or equivalent.
MBA / PGDM in Operations or related field is a plus.
8 12 years of experience in a production/manufacturing setup with at least 3 5 years in a managerial role.
Skills Required:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes production planning and quality control.
Excellent problem-solving decision-making and analytical skills.
Proficiency in ERP / Manufacturing software and MS Office Suite.
Strong understanding of safety and compliance regulations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across departments.
