Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Communications Coordinator to join our Birmingham-based team. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for strategic messaging. The Communications Coordinator will support internal and external communication initiatives ensuring consistent high-quality messaging across all platforms and materials.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and implement communication strategies across departments
Assist in drafting press releases newsletters and other internal and external communications
Maintain and update company communication calendars
Ensure brand consistency in all communication materials
Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop messaging for campaigns
Monitor and report on communication performance metrics
Support event planning and public relations efforts
Respond to internal and external communication inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Journalism or related field
1-3 years of experience in a communications or coordination role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Experience with content management systems is a plus
