Reporting to the Egis Group CIO and working within the CIO Office the Enterprise Architect is responsible for maintaining and developing the overall IT architecture across the Group. He or she is responsible for constantly optimizing IT systems to improve operational efficiency reduce maintenance costs and minimize environmental impact. He or she works in collaboration with all DISIT departments and Group entities (Group departments BL & Regions companies).
The Enterprise Information Systems Architect is responsible for:
- Design define and oversee the development of the overall IS architecture to meet the needs of the business departments in line with the companys security and environmental strategy and policies
- Ensure standards are designed met and applied
- Participate in the selection of solutions for projects in terms of evaluation design and implementation and ensure that they are integrated into the IS architecture in a consistent effective and sustainable manner
- Establish maintain and communicate the overall mapping of the information system and its evolution
ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
- Contribute to the development of the IS strategic plan through thematic roadmaps
- Monitors the market for new technologies and promotes innovative appropriate solutions
- Build and maintain IS architecture norms and standards
- Contribute to the selection of new solutions that meet the companys needs in line with existing recommendations and solutions and more broadly with the IS strategy
- Leads the development of project architecture files
- Participate in bids by acting as the architecture guarantor
- Supports integration and M&A teams
Qualifications :
PROFILE
- Higher education (engineering school or Masters degree in computer science) at least 10 years experience in IT urbanization and architecture.
- Extensive experience in the companys business lines very good knowledge of IT system cost drivers TOGAF certification recommended.
TECHNICAL
- Understanding requirements: act as the point of contact for all stakeholders (IT teams business units business sponsors customers suppliers) to ensure that the solution meets business requirements; guide business units in their strategic decision-making and advise them on IT issues
- Planning IT system developments: ability to anticipate medium/long-term business needs; propose enterprise architecture guidelines while ensuring optimal running costs and taking into account environmental issues related to digital sobriety all in a secure environment
- Architecture design: ensuring the consistency of architectures: use cases processes data software and infrastructure. He/she also ensures the optimal integration of new solutions into the existing functional and technical environment. Proposing technology roadmaps with a view to improving service user experience environmental efficiency and reducing the total cost of the IT lifecycle
- Understanding data-related challenges: governance & data management knowledge management data architectures & AI
- TOGAF certification appreciated
