Job Description
Operate and maintain laundry equipment to process linen safely and efficiently.
Sort fold and store clean linen ensuring consistent stock levels for housekeeping operations.
Maintain a clean organised laundry area and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
This role offers future growth opportunities with the potential to progress into a Laundry Supervisor position for team members who demonstrate initiative reliability and leadership potential.
Qualifications :
Essential :
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role including manual handling standing for extended periods and operating laundry equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a consistent work pace.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
- Previous experience in a laundry housekeeping or similar operational role.
- Flexibility to support housekeeping operations and maintain workplace safety standards.
- Familiarity with laundry equipment (washers dryers folding stations).
- Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail and able to work as part of a team.
- Legal right to work in Australia.
Desirable :
- Understanding of safe chemical handling practices.
- A willingness to grow into a supervisory role over time.
