The Project Manager is responsible for developing and executing project plans in accordance with Avecias procedures. The Project Manager is the primary contact for Business Development Managers as well as for customers. The Project Manager will work closely with all relevant departments within Avecia to ensure projects are delivered within a manner that meets both Avecias and the customers needs.
This position requires the Project Manager to work closely with customers to ensure that the project scope quality and performance expectations are met while also meeting Avecias financial and resource constraint needs. The individual will need to resolve scope change failure scheduling and resource conflicts as issues arise in order to maintain overall timelines. The individual will also need to work with both internal and external customers to agree upon amicable solutions to complex situations as they arise.
The Project Manager is accountable for delivering projects on time and within the pre-defined financial limits as agreed in the proposal. It is expected that this position will continually monitor overall project performance and raise any issues through the appropriate forum. This position is also expected to embrace Continuous Improvement efforts in order to help the company to become more efficient and profitable.
