Commercial Lines Producer
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Lines Producer to contribute to the growth and success of a well-established family-owned insurance agency. This role offers the opportunity to manage and grow a book of business with a focus on obtaining new clients and handling renewals. The agency specializes in a variety of accounts including construction retail restaurants churches and manufacturing.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $50000 - $60000 commissions
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package offered
- Retirement Plan: Simple IRA available
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to build and grow a book of business
- Identify and secure new commercial accounts across various industries
- Manage and renew existing accounts ensuring client satisfaction and retention
- Quote new and renewal business in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with agency partners and team members to achieve business objectives
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of industries such as construction retail restaurants churches and manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a plan for building a book of business
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with insurance software and tools is preferred
- Willingness to travel locally and work in-office as required
