Under the supervision of the Project Directorthe Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing major projects. They plan direct organize coordinate and control either independently or with other project managers the execution of one or more construction projects simultaneously.
University degree or technology diploma in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
10 years of experience in the construction industry
Civil engineering construction experience (bridges infrastructure tunneling water/sewer heavy civil)
Proven track record of successful project execution and team leadership
Strong knowledge of geology and geotechnical principles
Experience in large-scale projects and partnership environments
Familiarity with alternative project delivery models (Design-Build P3)
Financial acumen and strong understanding of codes and legislation
Advanced management negotiation communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with scheduling software and general computer skills
Bilingualism is an asset; proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required
